One of The Gibraltar Group’s highest priorities is to be transparent and maintain open communication with customers, employees and the community regarding our organization’s structure, purpose, objectives and activities. We take pride in this honesty and candor and the relationships it helps us develop.
Types of Information Gathered
When generally browsing our site you can visit without entering your name or personal information. The Gibraltar Group servers place a small data file called a “cookie” on your computers hard drive, which automatically receives and records information such as your IP address to inform our servers if and when the computer browses again. The “cookie” will provide session time; click path analysis, and pages to track lead information determining navigation of certain areas of the site. You may set your computer preferences not to accept “cookies”, if you do, you may be limited to pages available to you.
At times, the site will ask for personal information such as your name, company name and email address to obtain requested information by you including information from GibraltarU and the client portals. Your information is not shared with anyone other than confidential vendors and contractors who are confidentially bound and assist in increasing traffic and record statistical data from the site. Your information will not be shown or sold to a third-party for marketing or sales purposes.
Media Resource Center/Blog
The Gibraltar Group will give clients an opportunity to subscribe to the media resource center to view thought leadership pieces such as: blogs, white papers, videos podcasts and other online forums. Any personal information you post on the web site may be shared with other participating subscribers. In any of the possible situations, the recipient of the personal information may be located in the United States or another jurisdiction that may not provide an equivalent level of data protections to the laws in your home country.
Connecting to other Sites
The Gibraltar Group at times may link to other sites with possibly the same standards and privacy protection as ours, however, we are not responsible for the content, security or privacy statements of other sites.
Security of Collected Information
We have restricted personal information access of our subscribers from unauthorized or inappropriate access. In the act of employees misusing information, they may be subject to disciplinary action.
Gibraltar may preserve and has the right to disclose without your prior permission any information about you or your use of this Site if Gibraltar has a good faith belief that such action is necessary to: (a) Protect and defend the rights, property or safety of Gibraltar or its affiliates, employees, other users of this Site, or the public; (b) Enforce the terms and conditions that apply to use of this site, or (c) Respond to claims that any content violates the rights of third-parties. We may also disclose information, as we deem necessary to satisfy any applicable law, regulation, legal process or governmental request.

In order to obtain the appropriate level of coverage at competitive premiums, we take each client’s unique requirements to a series of underwriters and market the programs until we find the best value for the client. As part of our commitment to transparency, we pledge to disclose the details of this process and keep clients fully informed about their programs.
The Gibraltar Group and its affiliates and officers receive revenue in one or more of the following forms:
- Commissions from insurance companies, excess and surplus lines brokers, wholesalers and similar parties
- Fees paid by a client
- Contingent commissions - separate from a fee or commission for the sale of insurance policies, we may be eligible for contingent income based upon the size and profitability of all business placed with a particular insurance company. Because it is based on clients' losses, contingent income is not guaranteed
- Expense allowances from insurance companies for certain advertising, employee education and automation investments
